How the treatment works

Uses medical threads to support selected sagging tissues; its correction differs from a surgical facelift.

Choosing between treatments

Thread lifting supports selected sagging tissues; it does not remove fat or directly fill hollows, and its correction differs from a surgical facelift. Thread type, insertion layer, direction and tension matter more than simply increasing the number of threads. Previous thread procedures, their timing and any symptoms should be discussed before repeating or combining treatment.

Recovery and precautions

Allow about 1–2 weeks for initial recovery as a reference, with individual variation in swelling, bruising, tenderness and tightness. This does not mean the tissues are fully settled. Dimpling, visible or protruding threads, pain or infection may need assessment. Do not try to correct them with pressure or strong massage; confirm makeup, exercise and massage timing with the clinic. Immediate tightness and swelling are not the final result. Changes are assessed as swelling and bruising settle. The effect is not permanent, and its duration varies with thread characteristics, tissue condition and aging; a fixed duration cannot be guaranteed.

What to confirm in your quote

Confirm the area, extent, product or device, anesthesia, tax, medication and follow-up inclusions. Combined treatments or additional sessions can change the total; obtain an individual quote after examination.

INDIVIDUAL APPROACH

Why a personalized plan matters

The same concern does not always require the same Thread Lift plan. Skin and soft-tissue thickness, symmetry, previous treatment and the amount of change you want are assessed together.

FAQ

Thread Lift · Q&A

Q1What is a thread lift?

A thread lift is a nonsurgical procedure that places medical threads under the skin to lift sagging tissue and refine facial contours. Thread type, number and placement are selected for the face shape and direction of sagging.

Q2Which areas can a thread lift improve?

It can be used for sagging cheeks, jawline, facial contour and areas around the nasolabial folds. Suitable areas vary with face shape, fat volume and skin elasticity.

Q3How long do swelling and bruising last?

Noticeable swelling and bruising may last about one to two weeks. Tenderness or discomfort when pressing the treated area can continue for about three to four weeks.

Q4How long do thread-lift results last?

Immediate tightness and swelling are not the final result. Changes are assessed as swelling and bruising settle. The effect is not permanent, and its duration varies with thread characteristics, tissue condition and aging; a fixed duration cannot be guaranteed.

Q5How many threads do I need?

The number depends on face size, degree of sagging, skin thickness, fat volume and desired correction. Selecting the right type and placement is more important than simply using more threads.

Q6Can the skin look uneven after a thread lift?

Temporary dimpling or unevenness can occur while the threads pull the tissue. It usually improves as swelling decreases and tissues settle; severe or persistent symptoms should be checked by the clinic.

Q7When can I resume facial massage or home-care devices?

Strong massage, facial treatments and radiofrequency or ultrasound home devices are generally advised only after at least one month. Avoid strong pressure while the threads stabilize.

Q8Can I open my mouth wide after a thread lift?

Limit excessive mouth opening and strong facial muscle movement early on. Avoid tough foods, excessive yawning and strong facial massage that could stress the treated areas.

Q9What should I check in a quote for Thread Lift?

Confirm the area, extent, product or device, anesthesia, tax, medication and follow-up inclusions. Combined treatments or additional sessions can change the total; obtain an individual quote after examination.
