Choosing between treatments

A forehead lift addresses descent of the forehead and brow, whereas upper blepharoplasty adjusts eyelid skin. Eyelid-opening muscle function is assessed separately. Endotine, bone-tunnel fixation or a combination is selected according to tissue and lifting needs; no method is best for everyone. Hairline position, forehead length and hair density also affect planning.

Recovery and precautions

The Korean guide suggests allowing about 1–2 weeks for initial recovery and about 7–10 days for suture or staple removal, subject to examination.
